Emerald City Is Closer And Prettier Than Ever.

Today is my mom’s sixth and final chemotherapy treatment.  It has not been super easy, but she’s handled it with incredible grace.  And no, we aren’t out of the woods yet or anything.  There are still scans to be read and seven weeks of radiation to endure, but chemo has been particularly annoying to my mom, so we are thrilled it is over with now.  She just can’t stand to be so tired!  Her personality is normally so go-go-go.  She’s really had to slow down, take naps, perhaps delay cleaning out the entire garage.  She hates it.

So today, we celebrate the end of that crap and the beginning of some new stuff to find our way through.  Together we will.
